Chain reasoning
Pick a cell you can't decide. Try owl; try fox. If some other cell ends up the same either way, that other cell is settled.
Pip: Cell 1 could be either — but follow both branches and cell 4 comes out an owl in each. Place cell 4, and the rest falls.

Why it works
This is the last tool in the box and the only one that looks at the whole board. Every Hoot & Fox puzzle at Tiers 5–6 needs it at least once; nothing ever needs more than it.
